Za High Stool by Emeco is the brainchild of designer Naoto Fukasawa, who wants to convey the minimalist philosophy of his creation right from its name: Za in Japanese is the word for 'a place to sit'.Za High Stool is the perfect timeless multifunctional piece of furniture: it is lightweight yet super strong, because it is made of aluminium (so it is not subject to oxidation), it is fireproof and has a very low environmental impact. Emeco takes great care to affect the planet's balance as little as possible, using recycled and recyclable aluminium and emitting very low levels of CO2 into the air, using mostly clean, self-produced energy. This eco-sustainability does not compromise the care with which it is made, relying on the highest level of manufacturing expertise in the processing of aluminium, also introducing a unique circular turning of the seat. The clean, clear-cut and essential design makes Za Stool perfect to be placed in any environment, given the remarkable versatility of character, determined by more or less lively finishes and the availability in two sizes of different heights (counter and bar).
