Belt is a collection of lamps created by the designers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec and produced by the prestigious Flos brand. Belt is pure flexibility, a sinuous line whose nature is in balance between the softness of the fabric and the rigidity of aluminium. Available in olive grey and coppery brown.This iconic profile for suspended installation is characterised by a precious fabric upholstery specially developed for Flos. The soft element is represented by the connection to the electricity grid, whilst the rigid parts correspond to the light sources of the long beamlines. The device is equipped with integrated direct and indirect lighting and any emission can be individually managed with remote control of the installation. The installation of the product is done using fabric rods supporting the light profile, by sliding them with dedicated metal buckles that also serve as ceiling mounting brackets. Each rod can be adjusted to suit the layout of the space. A special micro plug embedded in the terminal of the light profile allows for electrical connection with a simple snap. The connecting element is hidden inside the fabric loop that acts as a suspension to support the composition.
