Wire Table

Wire Table is a coffee table designed by architect Ole Schjøll and produced by Brand A. Petersen. Available in different finishes. Designed in 1984, this coffee table first saw the light 32 years later. Entirely made on Danish soil, this table goes through five stages of production, folding, welding, cutting and lacquering. wires are shaped by FK Trådindustri, a company in central Jutland, then welded together in a unified frame by welder Mikkel Kjærholm. The frame is then taken to OP Stål in Ringsted, where it undergoes electropolishing, which is both more environmentally friendly and longer lasting than the chrome plating of yesteryear. The table top is simultaneously cut and modeled in Gladsaxe at the Klip og Buk company, sanded and sent to Laduco Industrilak in Ishøj, which takes care of the powder coating and subsequent baking in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees, to complete the job. Ideal for a Living room, or a contract, this Design coffee table will immediately be the protagonist of any environment, adding a touch of elegance and innovation.
