Week-End Bench without Backrest

Week-End is a backless outdoor bench from the collection of the same name designed by Brichet-Ziegler for Petite Friture. Made of aluminium with grained epoxy paint, it is available in various colours. Week-End is a complete collection of garden furniture. Designed to be practical and easy to move, all chairs in the collection are stackable. The design of the collection is expressed through a contrast of soft and rigid shapes. Starting with oval and round shapes, such as the backrests of the seats, we find rigid signs that are exemplified through the horizontal and vertical slats, which also emphasise the relationship between solids and voids, conveying a sense of lightness suited to the outdoor contexts for which this collection is designed. The collection also includes chairs, armchairs, lounge chairs, sofas, high and low stools and benches.
