Void is a collection of lamps designed and produced by the famous Tom Dixon brand in 2016. The collection also includes pendants in copper, brass and steel. Void is made of pure metals: copper, steel and brass.Inspired by vacuum bottles, Void is made of pure metal formed into a complex double-walled structure. Void Surface Light can be used on both walls and ceilings. The collection also includes pendants in copper, brass and steel. The Void creation process is complex. Cut from a sheet of pure metal, each light is pressed and spun, then brazed at the end to form a double wall lampshade. The high-gloss reflectivity achieved by turning, polishing and caring for the base metals is a bold finish that distinguishes the entire Void collection. The light source is an LED module that offers three key benefits, longer life expectancy, energy efficiency and improved performance including dimmability and light control.
