Utility Chair by Emeco has the functional design and essential charm typical of furniture created by the English designer Jasper Morrison, whose constants include robustness and manageability.Utility Chair was conceived with the idea of how it would be lived in in mind, the idea of a constant everyday experience in which quality craftsmanship and selected materials are decisive. The design has retro connotations which, thanks to its clean lines, can be reconciled with any kind of set-up with an informal or rustic character. Its simple form gives the impression that it could have been around for decades; it has a natural, timeless presence. The hand-shaped seats and steam-bent backrests are made of responsibly sourced Pennsylvania hardwood from Appalachian forests. They are available in natural ash, dark-stained ash, oak, walnut and Accoya, an acetylated pine wood suitable for outdoor use. The aluminium frame guarantees stability and strength. Sustainably sourced and controlled solid wood chair with a recycled aluminium tubular frame produced in Hanover available in anodised and hand-brushed or black powder-coated finishes. Shaped seat and steam-curved back available in natural ash, dark-stained ash, oak, walnut and Accoya. Seat height: 46 cm. Polycarbonate hard plastic feet.
