Turner Swivel Bookcase

Gianfranco Frattini, a genius in the Italian design field, signed for Poltrona Frau the Turner swivel bookcase, inspired by the classic English libraries from the center of the room. This is the reissue of his historic Modello 823 swivel bookcase. The three-level load-bearing structure extends vertically, each floor is equipped with grooves that allow the addition or removal of dividing panels, 21 in total, seven for each level, thus creating different combinations. The top is in birch plywood, crowned with a circular rotating surface made from MDF and covered in leather or saddle leather. The swivel mechanism consists of two self-lubricating bushings which allow the independent rotation of the base with the bookcase shelves and the swivel top.
