Tulip is an armchair by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. Swivel base is molded cast aluminum powder coat paint paint and seat shell is molded fiberglass. Tulip is an armchair that was designed in 1957, considered one of the icons of modern design. Tulip breaks the mold of the classic chair with four legs, like the material it is made, with the advent of plastics in those years, this was one of the most important creations of domestic furniture. The KnollStudio logo and the signature of Eero Saarinen are located under the base. The seat cushion removable cover is secured to the seat by velcro.
