Tree Sideboard

Tree is a stunning sideboard reminiscent of a tree, richly designed by Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba for the brand Scarlet Splendour. It features brass details and stylised tufts of leaves on the top, making it as sculptural as it is functional. Materials used in its production: resin, plywood and brass. Suitable for residences, hotels and commercial premises. This sideboard is part of the Forest collection. For his creations, Marcantonio introduced 'Vegetal Animal', a concept that evokes strong emotions to represent Nature. From the large, sculptural Tree Cabinet to the small Log Lamp, he has combined the strength of luxurious materials and finishes with his own unique language. The furniture borders on caricatures of animal and plant forms with solid, glossy colours, but suggests an 'elegant irony' with the use of brass, suede, premium wool, a chic colour palette and meticulous inlay work. The idea was to literally bring a forest into every home through the use of whimsical shapes and elegant colour tones that create a sense of eccentricity and luxury when the collection is viewed as a whole or even as individual works of art. The meticulous inlay work and fine craftsmanship produced an unprecedentedly brilliant collection, Forest, experiencing the connection between Man and Nature through the eyes of our Italian sculptor and designer Marcantonio.
