Tones Tufting Rug is produced by the Spanish brand Nanimarquina, based on a design by mural artist Clàudia Valsells. The Tones carpet collection, with its vibrant, eye-catching colours, is offered in two weave variations, the Kilim and the Tufting.Tones Rug, in each of its variations embodies the artist's philosophy that every colour that surrounds us profoundly influences our soul, bringing calm and energy. In all four patterns there is a distinctive, harmonious, rhythmic and sensitive touch, with colour as the primary instrument of an almost musical harmony. The collection is based on a design that invites one to experience the carpet, leaving space for furniture in the centre of it. The product of Tufting weaving is velvety and soft to the touch. It is done by means of a tool that tufts the fibre into a fabric stretched in a loom, then the excess is sheared off, resulting in a medium-long pile texture.Hand-woven rug with Tufting technique: weaving by grafting tufts onto fabric.
