The Flag Halyard chair was created in 1950 by the designer Hans J. Wegner and reproduced by Møbler. Stainless steel frame. Headrest cushion in fabric or leather in various finishes. The look of this chair seems rather futuristic, the basic idea was conceived on a hot summer afternoon in rather mundane circumstances. While children were playing in the shallow water along the beach, Wegner was digging and forming a place in the sand for himself. At that moment he thought of a comfortable chair to enjoy the holiday. While having an obvious preference for wood, Wegner shows his curiosity and courage in creating and using steel. He pays homage to early modernists such as Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe, and Marcel Breuer, and proves that a stainless steel chair can live and be as elegant as a wooden chair. This chair provides luxurious relaxation with the option of adding a sheepskin cover to soften the sharpness and industrial rationality of steel. The white sheepskin is included in the price. It is possible to choose other sheepskin versions. All sheepskins come from Iceland and are by-products of food production. All sheep have lived in open fields, and the skins have been treated without the use of chrome. In this version: neck cushion in Vegetal nature leather, straps Natural flag halyard Jute, Selected sheepskin 154.
