Telares is a new collection of Nani Marquina rugs. Telares is a collection that derives from the continuous research and study that Nani Marquina carries out to discover new approaches to the creation of rugs that the frame can offer.In fact, Telares was born thanks to the combination of techniques used for kilim and dhurries, by changing the fibers and the pressure applied on the latter, the changes in the motif of the carpet that characterize Telares are obtained; these nuances bring to mind the handmade rugs, marked by the innumerable attempts of the craftsman from which incredibly fascinating results derive. After numerous tests Telares found the desired texture, which is characterized by curved shapes, distinguishing itself from traditional kilims which are usually more geometric and straight. Hand woven with Afghan wool is available in 4 colors and 3 sizes.
