Table B

Table B is a table designed by Konstantin Grcic for Barcelona Design, built in aluminum and legs in solid oak. Konstantin Grcic in the design of Table B has been inspired by classic Bd pieces, such as the Hypóstila shelf unit. Its apparent simplicity hides a complex technical development in which senior engineers have been involved. In counterpoint, the production also includes several manual processes. The result is a highly crafted piece with all the character of the German designer. The table top is made of extruded aluminum with scotch smoothing the top is covered with a layer of natural oak; legs instead are natural oak with water-based varnish
