Swingrest is a collection designed by Daniel Pouzet for Dedon. Designed for two but spacious enough to allow a single user to curl up in a reclining position, this swinging sofa features a wrap-around backrest that envelops users in comfort. Aluminium frame with electrostatic powder coating. Upper tubes are cord-wrapped. Swingrest is a seating collection that stands out for its attention to detail. Initially imagined to furnish the spacious villas of DEDON ISLAND, the resort and Outdoor Living Lab that Dedon created in Siargao, Philippines, designed by Daniel Pouzet and partner Jean Marie Massaud. Taking a cue from his iconic Nestrest object, Pouzet reinterpreted the cup shape of the base to create a unique piece of furniture. Very spacious, as it can accommodate a large number of people inside, SWINGREST can be placed on a terrace, a veranda, as well as in an interior setting.
