Swan Armchair

The Swan swivel chair by Arne Jacobsen was born in 1958 for the Royal Hotel lobby in Copenhagen, now for the Fritz Hansen brand. The shell is made of synthetic material padded with polyurethane foam. The stylistic and design choice, innovative for the era in which it was made, included only curved lines, like a shell on a starbase made of aluminum and mounted on a satin steel pedestal.
