Stub MS11 is a collection of side tables designed by Mette Schelde for Fritz Hansen. Made of wood with glass top, available in three finishes, oak, ash and black painted ash. The talented Danish architect has created an elegant piece of furniture by combining the contemporaneity of current design with the tradition of Scandinavian style; the rigidity of the wood and the purity of the crystal blend perfectly, for a unique result. Inspired by the image of wooden logs, Stub, which means "stump" in Danish, has a circle of clear glass that floats around the base with no visible screws or supports. Ideal as a side table next to a sofa, or between two comfortable armchairs, Stub fits easily both in private environments and in lounge areas.
