Softshell Chair

Vitra Softshell Chair, designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, 2008, is based on a type of seat family but full of new energy. The familiarity comes from the shape of the body, while the new feature is its flexible mechanisms inside. It is characterized by a flexible backrest that adapts automatically to the position of the back member and allows great freedom of movement and comfortable sitting for long periods. The shell is slightly shaped with a soft upholstery fabric Plano (100% polyester) available in different colors or in leather with stitching. The armrests are integrated into the structure of the seat.
