Skovby SM78 dining table Patent pending Skovby SM78 dining table in a unique designThe unique design of this dining table is inspired by the very first eight-legged Skovby dining table. The dining tabletop is elliptical and the legs are half-elliptical. This gives the Skovby SM78 dining table a harmonious and very light expression. The legs have a slightly sloping angle in relation to each other creating a small gap at the top a new design, which also has a practical function. A special fitting on the outer legs makes it possible to adjust the legs in case they are affected by changes in air humidity. This solution is practical especially on solid dining tables that are more likely to expand and contract when exposed to fluctuations in air humidity and temperature. From six up to sixteen seatings The Skovby SM78 dining table is supplied with two extension leaves that are stored in a compartment underneath the dining tabletop. Two additional extension leaves are available for purchase. The Skovby SM78 dining table will seat 16 people when fully extended. Also available with table top in laminate The Skovby SM78 dining table is also available with a tabletop in laminate - the Skovby High Pressure Silk Laminate. The laminate has an incredibly hardwearing, silk matt surface and is very practical and easy to clean. The silk laminate tabletop is white and is combined with a base in oak white oil finish or black wenge.
