Sirènes Vase 48/999

Sirènes Vase 48/999 is a limited edition vase designed by Terry Rodgers and Renè Lalique, and produced by the Lalique Brand. This black crystal vase draws its origins from the vases with dancing bacchantes that, in 1927, Renè Lalique created by deepening the mythological sources. Almost a hundred years later, the American artist Rodgers came up with a new version of it. In the glass factory of Wingen sur Moder, in France, he made these vases in a limited edition consisting of 999 specimens, instead of the bacchantes there are depicted here mermaids, cheeky and in bas-relief as they were depicted in the past.
