Sideboard No 142 by Danish brand Bernh. Pedersen & Son was designed in 1965 and is inspired by the essence of Danish modernity through its clean lines, functional design and skilful craftsmanship.Sideboard No 142 features tambour-opening doors that fit into the backrest, a now rare feature that is not only pleasing to the eye, it is also ideal from a functional point of view as it minimises clutter. It is part of a series of furnishings re-launched on the market by the brand from 2015 that enhance the Scandinavian design tradition of the 1960s. The curved front edges give an organic and elegant touch to the composition, enhancing the quality of the solid wood workmanship. The interior of the cabinet is beautifully finished with adjustable shelves on each side and a central section with pull-out dovetail trays. The base on the back side leaves space for a skirting board: the legs are pulled slightly under the sideboard, making it possible to position the piece close to the wall. Thanks to the veneered back, it can also be used as a room divider. Low sideboard with 2 doors with tambour opening. Three internal sections: according to the proposed design configuration (2-2-2) it is equipped with a central section with three 5 cm high dovetailed pull-out trays, and three adjustable shelves to be inserted into the wide side sections. Veneered back. Available in two lengths and four wood types: oak, walnut, teak or rosewood in lacquered finishes. Each piece is manufactured in Denmark and individually numbered.
