Sensu Parasol

Sensu is an outdoor umbrella designed by Dirk Wynants for Extremis. A pole made of powder-coated aluminium with a 360° rotation mechanism combined with an acrylic fabric cover; base on wheels with a powder-coated aluminium cover plate with weights included.Sensu is a freestanding umbrella that opens horizontally by hand like a fan, practical and manoeuvrable, taking up no space if placed on top of the table. Thanks to the flat surface of the cover, the mechanisms are not visible, and Sensu also offers excellent wind resistance. This self-supporting sunshade opens and closes effortlessly, and the cantilevered tilt allows for efficient orientation of the shade.
