Saarinen is a table designed for Knoll by the designer after whom it is named, Eero Saarinen. White or black lacquered Rilsan frame; top in Arabescato, Statuarietto, Marquina, Calacatta, Portoro Silver, Rubino rosso, Emperador, Sahara Noir, and Verde Alpi marble with a glossy or satin polyester finish; it can also be made in black or white laminate. Or, natural or ebonised oak, walnut and Santos rosewood.Since the 1950s, Saarinen has proven to be a timeless table. With its essential lines and organic shapes, the Saarinen table has a design that fits into all contemporary living spaces with style and elegance. Eero Saarinen worked first with hundreds of drawings, followed by 1:4 (¼) scale models. Since the initial idea was to design chairs that would look good in a living room, the furniture miniatures were inserted into a scale model room the size of a doll's house. The table Saarinen, because it has become a design cult, you can combine it with your furniture with ease and it will never look dull. It was born to match the Tulip chair, also Knoll.
