S41-2 is a cabinet with drawers designed by Florian Borkenhagen for the Tecta brand. Made of stainless steel, with castors, 2 handles on the side, glass top black, 6 drawers with polished steel fronts, first drawer with lock. The German company's mission is to immortalize the designs of the greatest exponents of the Bauhaus school of art and design, for this reason, the models reproduced by Tecta are approved by the Bauhaus Archive in Berlin and bear the original signature of Oskar Schlemmer; each element made today respects the exact proportions of the originals. The German designer has paid homage to the career of Hungarian architect Marcel Breuer by redesigning an iconic piece of his production, bringing proportions and materials up to date with contemporary requirements. S41-2 plays on a perfect balance between art and design, sculpture and furniture; the chest of drawers impresses with its chrome and mirrored surface, which makes it appear different in every light and from every perspective. The handles on the sides suggest the mobility of the chest of drawers, which is mounted on castors and can be moved easily.
