S-Table is a table designed by Marcel Gascoin and re-proposed by Gubi. Available in two wood finishes. Designed in 1951 for the living quarters of the SHAPE (Supreme Headquarter Allied Powers Europe) in France, S-Table is a manifesto of the mastery of the French designer Marcel Gascoin, able to manage and make form and function coexist: an extendable table with a simple and refined design, robust and designed to last and not bulky. The rectangular top opens, revealing two extensions that can accommodate six, eight or ten guests; this uncompromising functionality is combined with a quality that transcends time, thanks to a design characterized by simple, tapered lines and elegant legs, all obtained with a craftsmanship made as a work of art. The Gascoin collection of which S-Table is part also includes B-Table and C-Chair, both made of wood; the possibility of customization enjoyed by these products allows them to adapt and live with different styles both in private homes and in offices.
