Rey Chair Upholstery by Hay is a variation on the theme of the Rey Chair from the same brand, created by Bruno Rey. In 1971, the Swiss designer, in collaboration with Dietiker, triggered a revolution in design, patenting a solution for connecting the various components that did not require the use of screws.Rey Chair Upholstery captivates with its retro charm, given by the unmistakable rounded shape of its edges and its solid and essential appearance. It was a huge success in the 1970s, both for the quality of its workmanship and its simple lines, making it both iconic and extremely versatile. Designed to be practical and manageable, Hay has accentuated this characteristic by changing its dimensions and making it more attractive through new colours.Stackable chair in beech wood with seat upholstered in Kvadrat Steelcut fabric (90% combed virgin wool 10% nylon). Seat and backrest of moulded plywood with beech top and veneer outside. Beech legs. Available in 6 combinations of upholstery and finish. Stackable up to 4 pieces. Plastic feet. Seat and legs are assembled by die-cast aluminium brackets. Seat height: 46, 5 cm.
