Repose Chair

Repose Chair, produced by the Spanish Jover Valls brand, is a tribute to a design classic, reinterpreted with a premium quality craftsmanship and selected materials.Repose Chair is inspired by the everyday simplicity of the director's chair, in which the frame is enriched with a refined finish, luxurious details and premium quality materials. The essentiality of the metal frame is balanced by the elaborate leather processing covering the seat, the backrest and the armrests. These chairs are characterised by exclusive and excellent workmanship, which becomes apparent in small details like the hand-turned metal nuts and bolts used to fix the leather surfaces or the hand-painted leather edges. The solid buckles in the back side of the backrest characterise the overall composition, directing the attention towards the powerful and solid nature of its design.Dining chair with 6/12 mm cold-bent steel rod frame, subjected to galvanic and nickel plating treatments, hand polished and lacquered. Powder-coated frame in a black rubberized texture; even covering of at least 50 microns on the whole surface. Subjected to corrosion resistance test carried out in a saline chamber in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 9227: 2017 e UNE-EN ISO 1456: 2010 standards. Spanish bovine hides with a 3,5 minimum thickness originated from the food industry, treated with vegetable-tanned leathers based on oils and fats from vegetable barks or fibres giving the leather great flexibility. The veins visible in the texture are typical of the folds of the hides from the croup of the animals. The available colours of the leather are: black, navy blue, dark brown, cognac and tobacco.
