Raphia Rattan chair is a project somewhere between contemporary technology and traditional craftsmanship. The new Casamania chair, designed by LucidiPevere, revives the archetypal folded reed chair but modernizes it with new materials designed to update its appeal. The supporting structure is made of embossed painted metal while the seat and backrest are made of woven natural rush. The shapes evoke those of tradition, where manual skill and craftsmanship make each piece unique, but are reinterpreted in a contemporary context to furnish both indoor and outdoor spaces.
