Radiohus The 2-seater sofa is a piece of furniture that Vilhelm Lauritzen originally designed for the Danish Broadcasting Radio House in 1936. Reproposed in a contemporary key by the brand Menu, this sofa will allow you to furnish your living room with a true icon of Scandinavian design.Radiohus This 2-seater sofa has a line in tune with the architecture of the place for which it was created: as with the rooms of the Radio House (today the Royal Danish Academy of Music), the shapes and atmospheres are dominated by welcoming and open lines, with volumes defined in a clear and resolute manner. Vilhelm Lauritzen, a pioneer of Nordic functionalism, creates upholstery that eschews the straight, schematic lines that had until then been an expression of innovation, opting for delicate curves that can be enjoyed from all angles. Accentuating the cosy charm of Radiohus Sofa is the quilted backrest that shows its softness, inviting you to enjoy its comfort. The elegant wooden frame supports the specially shaped seat, which is structured to support the body evenly.2-seater sofa in solid oak or walnut, plastic, steel, solid beech, plywood, foam, felt, quilted foam, pocketed springs and rubber. The wooden parts of the base are CNC-carved, then polished and oiled by hand to achieve a silky feel. The internal plywood parts are made of a foam surface, ready for final upholstery, to achieve a soft seat. Upholstery available in three fabric variants, the button covering can be chosen to contrast or match the upholstery. Seat height: 45 cm.
