Pulse is a collection of lamps designed by the French designer Pierre Charrié (AD100 Best Design 2022) and produced by the elegant brand Radar Interior. Collection available in different models, made in plaster of Paris with brass lampshade.The elegant Pulse collection is made of reinforced plaster of paris, opaque white. The lamps in the Pulse collection are rigorously handmade in Brittany. They feature a G9 LED system with a lamp cover made of brass. The French designer Pierre Charrié Interested in the sensorial dimension (matter/sound/movement/touch) of everyday objects, he is starting from the idea that sound needs a medium to propagate which conditions its interaction and which, once emitted, produces a impulse that travels in all directions. This is a contemporary interpretation of the expressive possibilities of entirely hand-crafted stucco. The Pulse series lamps capture the shapes generated by sound as it 'passes' through the material. The reliefs 'frozen' in the stucco are the result of the propagation of acoustic waves on the surface of the water. Each sound frequency has its own specific pattern, both geometric and organic. These lamps reproduce sound vibrations in water at a frequency of 64 Hz.Light source: G9 LED
