Designed by Bruno Rainaldi for OpinionCiatti, Ptolomeo X4 is a 360° swivelling vertical self-standing bookcase. The sstructure and shelves are in black or white lacquered metal, the base in polished stainless steel or white 52x52 cm. Ptolomeo X4 is available in three versions: Version A Consists of 14 shelves spaced 13 cm apart, horizontally positioned books. Each shelf holds up to 30 volumes, approx. 420 books total. 85 CDs per shelf, total 1190. Version B Consists of 7 shelves 26 cm apart, books placed vertically. Approx. 35 volumes per shelf, 245 books total. Version C Consisting of 5 shelves 26 cm apart and 4 shelves 13 cm apart. Vertical and horizontal book placement. Approx. 295 volumes total, or 175 volumes and 340 CDs.
