Tord Boontje’s original vision was to recreate the incredible shapes and shadows of sunlight shining through a tree canopy. To make this a reality, he designed sprawling lengths of ivy that twist their way through a flowing central frame, resembling a piece of naturalistic sculpture. A feat of technical production; where engineered spinnings meet hand formed laser cuttings to adversely create something soft and delicate. When lit, the decorative ivy comes to life and produces dancing shadows around the room.
