Pontile Bookcase by Medulum is a tribute to the city of Venice. Precious materials and unique lines to evoke suggestions and atmospheres that make the Serenissima lagoon unique.Pontile is a Bookcase with clean, essential lines; its design allows the essence used to stand out, enhancing every nuance. The design celebrates the constructions that constitute one of the fundamental links between Venice and the water: boat jetties have a primordial construction scheme, the verticality of which this bookcase captures. Softly shaped solid wood shelves are crossed by poles, the heads of which, as in the lagoon, are finished with a protective varnish. To make this furniture more functional and practical, the Pontile Bookcase has been implemented with a system of storage compartments with sliding shutter doors.A bookcase made of continuous rounded solid wood posts and two 125 cm storage compartments with sliding shutter doors.
