PK 80 is the bench designed by Poul Kjærholmnel 1956 and produced by Republic of Fritz Hansen. The dormeuse rests on a painted plywood base and the frame is made of satin-finished stainless steel. A classic of modern-day design. Poul Kjærholm combines elegance with comfort, producing a classy collection with a sophisticated and iconic design. The daybed is an exercise in style that combines balance, construction and choice of materials. The inspiration for the daybed came from Bauhaus. PK80 is upholstered in leather and supported by a satin brushed stainless steel frame. It is currently on display at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, since 2004.
