Passerelle Desk

Passerelle Desk is one of a series of tables created by the design duo Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Hay. Passerelle is a collection of multifunctional tops inspired by the Shaker style, thus produced with the utmost attention to the quality of the materials, the enhancement of craftsmanship and a simple appearance aimed at facilitating everyday gestures.Passerelle Desk is distinguished from the other examples in the same collection by its off-centre foot in relation to the top, which allows for more agile use. Its small dimensions allow it to be placed alongside a wall or positioned in a study without taking up too much space, while still proudly displaying the quality of its materials. The balance of the composition reigns in a design that focuses on the remarkable quality of the wood used, accompanied by painted metal elements that give it industrial charm. The top has a core of Lisocore®, a very resistant and light material that allows Passerelle to be moved effortlessly. Desk available in different colours and woods. Top in veneer or linoleum with a Lisocore® core. Solid wood base structure with aluminium and steel elements. Paints and lacquers are water-based.
