Papyrus Chair

Papyrus is an iconic and comfortable armchair in transparent polycarbonate, designed by the Bouroullec brothers for the all-Italian brand Kartell.Mirabile conjugation of simplicity, refinement, grace and memory, Papyrus refers to the archetype of the old chairs in wicker, when the structure had the decisive and very marked trait. The armchair combines the translucent support part with a very thin vertical knurling, which traces the outside of the rounded back, with soft and enveloping shapes. The seat is comfortable and welcoming, the entire lightweight structure. The wide range of new "old fashioned" shades in which Papyrus is proposed make the play of the worked surface even more evident and seductive.
