Pagode Sofa by the brand Menu, is an elegant piece of furniture by the designer duo Tove and Edvard Kindt-Larsen, who in 1956 drew inspiration from Asian architecture to play with light, modern lines. Pagode Sofa is recognisable among a thousand because of its clean, graceful shape. The curves of the seat are the same as in traditional Asian pagode, which here contribute to making the body of the sofa so light that it seems to float. Sculptural and avant-garde for its time, the low, almost flat arms of the sofa Pagode, and the slender yet structured V-shaped legs make it an unmistakable iconic piece, with its expressive and well-defined character, making it perfect even in minimalist and contemporary settings. Upholstered 2-seater sofa, available in 4 fabric variations, Re-wool or Hallingdal 65. Wooden legs carved with a numerically controlled system (CNC), oiled and polished by hand. Available in Oak or Walnut. Interior components are plastic, steel, solid beech, foam-covered plywood, felt, quilted foam. Seat height 35 cm.
