Oxford Medium Back with Armrests

The original version of the Oxford ™ chair was designed for professors at the College of Saint Catherine in Oxford, in 1963.Arne Jacobsen received an honorary degree from Oxford at the end of the project. This innovative example of total design is, today, considered its most significant work. The bodies are made of curved plywood with wood veneer.
