Ossicle Travertine Stool is one of the chairs in Giobagnara's Ossicle collection designed by Francesco Balzano.Ossicle Travertine Stool has an informal character that meets the solemnity of stone, creating a perfect balance between geometric shapes and pure surfaces. It is inspired by the volumes of archaic monoliths and the organic shapes of the pawns of the classical-era game of Knucklebones, carved from fragments of bone. The original design starts from ancient ideas reworked in a graphic key, which are transformed into a purely minimal object designed to be placed in contemporary contexts. The wavy line, the fil rouge of the entire collection, is found in the lower edge, a fundamental motif to make Ossicle Stool dynamic and ironic. A stool sculpted from a single block of Travertine.
