Osaka is a sofa designed in 1967 by Pierre Paulin for the LaCividina brand. Sinuous and clear organic inspiration, the sofa is modular and combinable in infinite ways. In a period of great artistic ferment, Pierre Paulin revolutionized the concept of seating by developing the Osaka modular system, a curved sofa that winds through space to customize any environment. Indeformable polyurethane foam with high density differentiated densities, reinforced frame and removable cover. The sofa was made for the Osaka International Exposition of 1970 and reissued today by LaCividina.
