Orgone Chaise Longue Limited Edition

Orgone Chaise Longue by Cappellini, in this version was presented at the Salone del mobile 2024 in a limited edition of only 9 pieces for a special occasion: the release of a volume dedicated to the designer author of this iconic piece, Marc Newson, in a well-known art book series. Orgone Chaise Longue is one of Marc Newson's very first designs, which, more than 30 years after its presentation, is now counted among his masterpieces within the monograph "Marc Newson, Works 1984/2024." To celebrate the collaboration with well-known designer, during the Salone del mobile 2024, Cappellini presents a retrospective exhibition of the projects created together, recounting the professional and friendship relationship between Marc Newson and Giulio Cappellini. For the occasion, the limited edition of Orgone Lounge authenticated by the author is made, in the same light blue shade used for the book cover. Also in this version, Newson's basic inspiration is faithfully maintained, based on the shape and construction techniques of surfboards, completely made of fiberglass, showing a sinuous and organic profile, reminiscent of that of an hourglass. It is a timeless product, a true signature work of art and design, perfect for making any room unique.
