Ordinal is a collection of tables designed by designer Michael Anastassiades for the Cassina brand. A minimal project that combines high technology and contemporary design.Ordinal is a collection of rectangular, square and oval tables shapes in many dimensions and for every need. Each leg is positioned at the four corners of the table at 45 °, thus leaving space free for new diners and thus maximizing resistance while the geometry catalyzes the attention on the edge of the table. The legs are made of aluminum or wood, the top in natural solid wood, veneered or lacquered. Cassina's artisans team after having tested numerous resistance techniques of the structure, he decided to agree with the designer to hide a metallic mechanism inside the wood to support this great plan while allowing it to retain its sleek appearance. The tops are made of veneered or lacquered wood, except for the 240x100 size which has only the solid oak finish.
