Opalino 706.24 sandblasted crystal is the Frozen version of the vase designed by Paolo Venini, produced by the Venini brand. Sandblasted silk-like surface coat for an object of delicate elegance.Born from the extraordinary mind of Paolo Venini, the Opalino vase saw the light of day in 1932. Opalino is obtained by working lattimo, a white opaline glass created in Murano around the middle of the 15th century to imitate the first porcelains then very fashionable in Europe, by combining and "framing" the lattimo glass with one or more thin transparent and colored glasses, resulting in splendid objects with brilliant and intense colors.
