Ocean OC2 is an outdoor furniture collection designed by Joergen & Nanna Ditzel for the Mater brand. Made with gunmetal finish steel structure and shell in plastic waste from Carlsberg's discarded beer kegs.The Ocean OC2 series - originally designed in 1955 - includes tables, chairs, and a bench, combining innovation and solutions to prevent pollution of the world's oceans. The series is characterized by its light structure with repeated wave slats and metal frames, made and tested for outdoor use. Ocean OC2 is a project destined to last over the years, even after the use of each element has ceased, as its design allows each component to be recycled in new production cycles.One lounge chair contains 14000g / 49.4oz beer keg plastic waste.
