Obello outdoor lamp designed by Bill Curry for Gubi. The designer designed the lamp in 1971 with a single glass shape, eliminating the need for a separate base.Refined mushroom-shaped lamp, designed and never put into production because Bill Curry unfortunately died the same year. Obello was in a prototype phase so early that she wasn't even given a name. Half a century later Gubi put into production for the first time the lamp in a portable version with a mouth-blown frosted glass shade, like the one used for the original Curry lamps, and an integrated dimmable LED light source. Obello is rechargeable and can be easily moved from inside to outside. With a full charge of four and a half hours, it provides up to 40 hours of light. Obello will create a cozy atmosphere when the sun starts to set and lasts into the night.
