Oaki is a wooden chair designed by Stine Aas for Northern Brand. Nordic know-how meets the art of Japanese craftmanship in the elegant Oaki chair. The chair was inspired by the simplicity and artistry that represent traditional Japanese wood joinery. The designer set out to conceal the chair's joins, giving Oaki a refined, uniquely weightless character that looks seamless in appearance. Oaki it's a play on words too: in fact, the seat's structure is made in solid oak wood.
