Mushroom Junior Armchair

Mushroom Junior is an iconic armchair, designed by Pierre Paulin and produced for the Artifort brand. Available in different finishes. Designer Pierre Paulin distinguished himself with this armchair thanks to its original shape, bright colors and manufacturing technique that was revolutionary for the time. The idea of the mushroom came to Pierre Paulin as he looked at the women, modeled and dressed in their bathing suits. The inspiration was found in the beautiful curves and one-piece stretch fabric of the seamless swimwear. In 1958 Paulin began his research on stretch fabric upholstery and collaborated with the Artifort development department, revolutionizing the way the world views design in terms of shape, materials and fabrics. The Mushroom® design is proof of this. Extremely comfortable, the Mushroom is a captivating armchair that makes you want to curl up and fully enjoy your relaxation, ideal for any environment. This version, designed specifically for children, is exactly the same as the original, only reduced in size to be comfortable for a child's seat.
