Model 2065 is a suspension lamp created in 1950 by Gino Sarfatti and now relaunched by Astep.Model 2065 represented the innovative and experimental vision of Gino Sarfatti; in fact in the 50s the most used material in lighting was glass, but for this lamp was used the methacrylate, a polymer much stronger and lighter than glass, an innovative material for that time. Model 2065 consists of a diffuser made of two joined opalescent saucers, suspended from the ceiling with a black-painted aluminium canopy.
