Metafora is a lamp that was designed by the designer Umberto Riva and produced by FontanaArte. This is a re-edition proposing a classic icon in the LED version. Available in different colors: either with transparent base or with white etched base.The Metafora table lamp was born in the full creative atmosphere of the early 80s, when Gae Aulenti took on the role of artistic director within FontanaArte and decided to bring the glass back to the center of the company's activity. Called by Gae Aulenti, Umberto Riva draws a precious table lamp, composed of a conical diffuser in layers of opal glass, supported by a transparent glass base that conceals the metal structure, all interlocking.
