Memory Wall Lamp - Opaque

Designed by Boris Klimek for Brokis, Memory is a wall lamp in blown-glass. Memory is a collection of ceiling and wall lamps characterised by a playful design inspired by many balloons of different size and color. This lamp resumes the craftmanship skills and precision of glass masters: the glass shades derive from multiple layers of molten glass, each of which is scrutinized by the master prior to being blown into the mold. The “sandwich" combination of two transparent outer layers of crystal and an inner layer of white opal glass between them lends the glass outstanding optical properties. Memory lamps can be turned on by pulling the string but they can also be connected to your domestic electrical system and thus turned on with the switch. The string is 69 cm long.
