Withon/off switch.Designers Andrea Quaglio and Manuela Simonelli, professionally Quaglio-Simonelli, have been focused on furniture product design and more for years.They have designed Medusa, a glass table lamp, born from the elementary principle of incorporating a metal dome into a cylinder: the dome contains the light source and the glass cylinder gently distributes the light on the lamp's support surface. In the Medusa lamp, the relationship between support and lampshade is reversed. The support does not support the lampshade but contains it. The dome, the seat of the light source, remains suspended in the cylinder thanks to an elegant fold of glass that allows for a formal cleanliness of great refinement. The electric cable completes the design, descending freely from the center of the shade and in a play of reflections seems to sway, giving a sense of lightness to the whole lamp.
